Prosperitas is currently collecting debt on behalf of 516 schools and 184 other clients in all 9 provinces. We are based in Arcadia.

Job Responsibilities

 

The appropriate candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate.
• Good computer skills.
• Good typing speed, strong attention to detail.
• Business loads on Voyager system.
• Must be strong in administration and accuracy.
• Applicant must be able to work overtime.
• Do you have strong Administration skills
• Computer literate proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Attention to detail, accuracy very important

👤 Position: Senior Collection Officer

Are you a seasoned debt collector with a passion for service excellence and a heart for education? Prosperitas is seeking a dynamic professional to lead recovery efforts in our growing team.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex recovery cases across multiple schools
• Analyse account data and optimize recovery strategies
• Negotiate payment arrangements with authority and empathy
• Ensure accurate documentation and legal compliance

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years of debt collection experience (school fees preferred)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of the Debt Collection Act and related regulations
• Ability to manage high volumes of accounts professionally
• Proficiency in English; additional South African languages are a plus
• Familiarity with CRM systems and collection platforms
• Administration & Financial skills/experience will be an advantage
